Writer, editor, creative consultant. I wear a few hats. Essentially I produce content for a range of publications and companies. Often that entails travel, though not necessarily. I mean, by all means, fly me out somewhere exotic, but it's also fine if you'd rather Skype or have me come into your office. Just make sure there are umbrella drinks.

"Katie is a natural writer, with a great way with words. She puts a lot of time and thought into her work, and always strikes the right tone for the subject about which she is writing." Camilla Simson, owner of Deuxieme dress agency
"Katie is one of the loveliest people you could hope to work with. We worked together on an editorial project for the NHS a couple of years ago. Katie is highly professional, has an eagle eye for detail and is a very talented writer. While she's clearly comfortable writing about or editing a wide variety of subjects, travel is her true passion. She has many fascinating tales of her adventures... ask her how she got leeches in her ears!" Justine Speller, copywriter and owner of Ella & Oscar
"Our brief to Katie included writing fresh new copy for our website launch and the accompanying marketing material for a our small business aimed at young families living in the Surrey Hills. Katie promptly responded to the brief and got under the skin of our business to understand our needs. We received regular updates, and Katie even turned around ad-hoc requests at short notice. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Katie for similar projects!" Julie Yates, Founder of Busylizzy Family Club
"Katie and I have worked together for a number of years and at several publishing houses, including News International and Axon, and at digital content agency Zone. She is an experienced sub-editor and a talented writer, able to hit the ground running in whatever journalistic or creative quarter she finds herself. An avid traveller, she has a thirst for adventure and a curiosity about the new that has seen her pursue interests that range from acting and filmmaking to teaching and music-making. A great self-starter and team-player, she is always re-booked wherever she works, which speaks for itself." Gill Wing, sub-editor
